The Decision

Love God & Love Others

The definition of unconditional love is to love someone whether their right or wrong no matter what, no distance or time can outlast that love and it will never fade. Almost 2000 years ago God displayed this kind of love. He was born of a virgin, Lord Jesus Christ took on human flesh and lived with his creation. He physically lived on this earth for 33 ½ years loving on sinners and showing compassion to everyone he came across. He shared this unconditional love all the way to the Cross. Where he was the ultimate sacrifice for sin. See the wages of sin is death but Jesus Christ came to take the place for you and me. He took the full payment for every sin we would ever sin in our life. We deserve to die for our sins but Christ took our place on that cross. Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “It is finished!” as he had accomplished God’s great plan of salvation.

Jesus rose from death three days later. He had took the ultimate consequence for our sin and became the key to our salvation. The consequence of sin is death so Jesus died for me and you so once we accept him into our hearts we no longer have to go to hell once we die.

You’re never too far from God’s unconditional love. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or what someone may have said to condemn you. Jesus saw you at your very worst and took your sin to the cross to be crucified with Him.

“How do I turn from this sin, what can I do to be saved?” It’s really simple actually, here’s what you need to do….

1.)  Admit you are a sinner

2.) Be willing to turn from sin

3.) Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead

4.) Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Lord and Savior

Here’s what to pray:

"God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"

Once you are “Saved” where to go from here:

1.)  Get a Bible and Spend time with God by reading his word

2.)  Talk to God in prayer daily

3.)  Surround yourself with others who are Saved/ Born Again

4.)  Find a Good Church Home, where Christ and the Bible is the final authority
